The terms that govern Mouseion are in two documents, plus the terms for sharing to Mouseion at the end of this page. This page says which is which, so you can go straight to the one you need.
End User License Agreement
The EULA is the agreement between you and Mouseios, Inc. for the use of the app and the website. It contains the licence grant, acceptable use, warranties and disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, ownership and intellectual property, arbitration and class-action waiver, governing law and venue, DMCA notice-and-takedown, Apple- and Google-specific terms, subscriptions and in-app purchases, and termination.
Terms of Service & Privacy Policy
The Terms of Service & Privacy Policy is the document covering what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, how long we keep it, your choices over model improvement, and your privacy rights.

Sharing to Mouseion
Mouseion is the part of Mouseion where users share their sketches and the Moos generated from them with everyone else who uses the app. These terms apply whenever you share to Mouseion, heart or pin a post, or report one. They add to the EULA—in particular its sections 1(e) (Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content), 1(f) (Reporting), 3 (Acceptable Use) and 14 (Term and Termination)—and nothing here narrows what the EULA prohibits. What happens to your information when you share is described in the Privacy Policy, Section 18.
(a) What you may share. You may share only a sketch you drew yourself in Mouseion and the Moo the app generated from it. By sharing, you confirm that you have the right to share both images and that the post complies with these terms and with the law.
(b) Prohibited content. Do not share to Mouseion anything that:
- is sexually explicit or contains nudity;
- is hateful, or harasses, threatens, bullies, or demeans a person or a group, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation;
- depicts or glorifies violence, gore, cruelty, self-harm, or suicide;
- is illegal, promotes illegal activity, or gives instructions for causing serious harm;
- shows or contains another person’s private information—such as their face, name, address, phone number, identity document, or a private image—without their permission, or infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, or other rights;
- is spam, is misleading or deceptive, or impersonates a person or an organisation;
- depicts a minor in a sexual, suggestive, or otherwise inappropriate way. Content that sexualises minors is prohibited without exception, is removed on sight, and is reported to the authorities where the law requires it.
(c) Filtering and review. Before a share is sent, the app runs an on-device safety classifier over the images it is about to upload; if the classifier blocks them, nothing is shared, and if it cannot run, the post is held and shown only to you until we have reviewed it. We may review, hold, hide, or remove any post at any time, with or without a report and without notice, at our discretion. We are not obliged to pre-screen content, and a post appearing in Mouseion does not mean we have approved it.
(d) Reports, hiding, and bans. Anyone can report a post from inside the app or by emailing report@mouseios.com. A post reported by three different users is automatically taken out of public view pending our review; we then restore it or remove it. You can hide any person’s posts from your own view of Mouseion at any time. We may ban an account from Mouseion for any breach of these terms or of the EULA: a banned account can no longer share, heart, or report posts, and every post it shared is removed. A ban does not by itself end your licence to use the rest of the app, but we may also terminate your account under section 14 of the EULA.
(e) Licence to display your post. When you share a post, you grant Mouseios, Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, resize, cache, and display the shared sketch and Moo, the style tag, and the name shown on the post to users of the Service through Mouseion, and to use them as needed to moderate Mouseion and to keep the moderation records described in the Privacy Policy. This licence is only what we need to run Mouseion. It does not transfer ownership of your sketch to us, and it does not change what the EULA says about Outputs. Public display ends when you remove the post or we remove it; copies that other users pinned before then remain on their devices, and other users may have seen, saved, or screenshotted the post while it was public.
(f) Other users’ posts. Posts in Mouseion are shared by users, not by Mouseios, and we do not endorse them. You may heart a post and pin it to a Tile inside the app. You may not copy, download, redistribute, sell, or use another user’s post outside the app without that user’s permission, and you may not use Mouseion to collect information about other users.
(g) Changes. We may change these terms. When we do, we update the effective date above, and section 15(d) of the EULA applies. Continuing to share to Mouseion after a change means the changed terms apply to your posts.
